Medford ready to turn it around

Hernan Medford has not been in charge of the Honduras national football team for even 5 months as he was appointed at the head coach in July and ever since his appointment as the manager of the national squad, Honduras has claimed victories against: Belize and Nicaragua but lost after playing with: El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico.
So far it has not been the best of starts for Hernan Medford as he has sustained more triumphs than triumphs but the coach has requested all of the fans of the national team and players themselves to have patience and give him in order to turn the squad into a successful one.
The 46 years old coach expressed his satisfaction towards the performance that his squad displayed during the match of Honduras against United States which took place at the Florida Atlantic University Stadium on October 15 in a game that concluded with a 1-1 draw.
‘’With time, things will start to get better for the squad, today a great match was played and I believes that if we analyze our performance against Mexico and compare it with this one, we have improved. If I am allowed to do my job with freedom then even better results will start flourishing I just need time as there are a lot more work that needs to be done’’ Hernan Medford said after his squads’ friendly match against United States.
United States took the early lead in their match against Honduras with Jozy Altidore scoring within the opening 10 minutes of the game as he rushed down the left wing and received a pass from Michael Bradley before firing a shot that went right past the goal-keeper of Honduras, Donis Escober.
Honduras failed on creating or launching any real threatening shots to their opponents in the first half but when the match restarted and both squads re-entered the pitch to play the remaining 45 minutes of the game, Honduras was playing much better than the start of the game and scored their rightfully deserved goal at the 86th minute which equalized the match.
