Houston Dynamo Certainly Miss Romell Quioto Whenever Unavailable, says Cabrera

Houston Dynamo manager Wilmer Cabrera believes that the return of Honduras international Romell Quioto and Alberto Elis will help improve the form of the team substantially.

Houston Dynamo have been rated as the strongest attack in the division, but Cabrera has been unable to field some of the important players on a regular basis. As a result of the unsettled starting line-up, Houston Dynamo have been unable to make an impact in terms of the league positioning. The team has suffered immensely in terms of the away matches. Houston Dynamo are up against San Jose Earthquakes this weekend.

Cabrera says that he expects Houston to be extremely strong this weekend with Romell Quioto and Alberto Elis available for the team. He has admitted that Houston Dynamo are a different outfit when the duo are available. Erick Torres was one of the key players for the club, and he still remains the top scorer even as the season approaches the business end. Yet,Quioto has not only come up with goals, but he has also been important in terms of assists.

Quioto manages to produce a goal or an assist in every 120 minutes of action. Alberto Elis happens to be even better with an average around 110 minutes. When both players have played, Houston Dynamo have four wins and one draw. In their absence, Dynamo have lost six matches.

“They’re really important for us when they’re physically and mentally 100 percent. When they’re 100 percent, they’ve been outstanding for us.When they’re injured or they’ve been away, it is difficult to get the rhythm. It is a disruption for us. We have to be sure they have enough rest, recovery and that their mentality is coming back. Then we can use them. When we get that, they leave again, so it is part of our job to manage the best way possible, but also to be sure that we get the best out of them,” said Cabrera.
