FIGUEROA MISSES OUT

Hull City has to face Newcastle United in an away game on Saturday and two of their main players are not available for selection i.e. Maynor Figueroa and Robert Koren.

Koren who is the skipper of the team as well has suffered a leg fracture and has been ruled out for a couple of months, while, Figueroa has gone back to his country Honduras for a few days because of some family problem.

Despite the absence of these two players, the manager of Hull City, Steve Bruce, is pretty confident about the chances of his team against Newcastle.

Talking to the reporters earlier today, Bruce said, “I have always enjoyed coming to Newcastle. The stadium is superb and the spectators create awesome atmosphere during matches here. I think it’s going to be a classic encounter.”

“In the matches that we have played so far, we have shown that we are capable of performing well at the highest level. We will have to continue our good form against Newcastle.”

“Yes, a couple of our vital players are not available and that’s disappointing for us. But, we can do well without them as well.”

Hull City has so far played 4 Premier League games this season out of which they have won 1, have lost 2 and the remaining 1 has ended in the form of a draw. The Tigers currently have 4 points.

On the other hand, Newcastle has had a slightly better tournament. Out of their 4 games, they have won 2, have lost 1 and have played draw on one occasion. So, they have got 7 points in total.

Newcastle will also be without a few of its important players in the match against Hull. Shola Ameobi, Jonas Gutierrez and Steven Taylor, all are out injured and will not feature in the game.
